is a journalist, trainer and lecturer in storytelling – at several schools of journalism in Germany and Austria. He works as an editor and author and has reported from more than 20 countries. York hosts a podcast on biology topics for audible. His column for the magazine “myself” was adapted for radio and has been published as a book.

York trains the communications teams of companies and organisations, including the DFB (German Soccer Association) , the German Federal Press Office, Continental AG and the Hager Group in France – usually with a focus on storytelling. The realignment of the entire communication strategy also falls within his area of expertise. Many of his projects have become benchmarks in the media industry, such as the “Hamburg Magazin” in the field of city marketing or the OTTO Group’s multi-award-winning magazine “Now” in the field of sustainability communication.
